The Haunting
As if waiting for Dr. Best to return from a house call on his horse-drawn carriage, this Victorian house and office is a time capsule from the earliest form of medicine, with medical apparatuses that will turn your blood cold. Steeped in a village over 300 years old, this house has witnessed the death of the doctor's beloved son, young wife, and Dr. Best himself, so it's no surprise that investigators have captured recordings of piano playing and distant voices. Visit, and hear the tales of deaths and misfortune in this small, rural community with original obituaries, photos and death certificates. Paranormal investigations have revealed significant activity with EVPs and recordings of piano playing and distant voices.

Opportunities for visitors:
Guided historical haunted tour with a photo gallery, eye-witness accounts of unexplained events, and discussion of evidence from previous paranormal investigations on the property. Call for reservations. Professional investigations available by reservation; special events throughout the year.
