There are all sorts of exciting things happening regarding the Haunted History Trail of New York State. Here are two items of interest that we'd love to share with you. First, we have added some new locations to the trail. We can't wait any longer, so we're going to spill the beans on one of the places. The Historic Dr. Best House & Medical Museum in Middleburgh (Central NY region/Schoharie County) has served as a home and office to two generations of country doctors over a period of 100 years. The property is home to a collection of medical apparatus' from centuries ago that will make you cringe. There are tales of death and misfortune that involves the house, with the museum's artifacts taking an in-depth look at look at Victorian burial rituals and funerals. With items such as these being stored at the house, there's no wonder that there are numerous paranormal reports involving this property: EVPs, a piano softly being played, and unexplainable events. Visitors can participate in guided tours of the house, which takes a look at the mysteries that surround the house.
Second, the 2016 Haunted History Trail of New York State brochure will be hitting the streets in the next two weeks. It will feature descriptions on the over 60 places on the statewide trail. Not only can you receive the brochure, but you can also have visitors guides from other regions of New York State sent to you. If you would like a brochure, please fill out the form by clicking here.
