At the request of The Music Hall, Gotham Paranormal Research Society visited the theater multiple times in 2019 to investigate unexplained activity experienced by the staff, crew and other visitors. They revealed fascinating findings about the paranormal activity at The Music Hall, including intriguing EVP (electronic voice phenomena) audio files and EMF (electromagnetic field) readings. Gotham is an active member of the TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) Family for over 13 years and they are the only TAPS Family team serving the NYC / Tri-State area and all of Long Island.

Opportunities for visitors:
The Music Hall hosts public Ghost Tours and Paranormal Investigations of the historic theater. Ghost Tours are special “balcony to backstage” guided tours that reveal the secrets of the theater, its intriguing history and the ghostly guests who still linger. Paranormal Investigations are hands-on, small group experiences led by Gotham Paranormal Research Society. The Investigation starts with a Ghost Hunting 101 presentation and includes Gotham led teams dispatched around the theater using audio, video, cameras, meters and lighting equipment such as laser grids to assess paranormal activity. Private investigations are available with advance reservation.
