The Haunting

Hyde Hall boasts 200 years of bone-chilling paranormal activity. Own by the same family for six generations, the 22,000 square foot mansion witnessed its share of lachrymose moments. When the builder George Clarke died in 1835, he never truly left his neo-classical masterpiece—and he is not alone. Others still linger in the home’s enduring corridors. Visitors have experienced whispers, knocking, footsteps, distant music, and even full-body apparitions.

Hyde Hall is a National Historic Landmark and a New York State Historic Site filled with many of its original furnishings from 1817-1835.
