The Haunting

Empty Pockets Ranch, nestled in the rolling hills of Schoharie County, offers more than just scenic views and rustic charm. Beneath its tranquil surface lies a history shrouded in mystery and unrest. Since its beginnings as a family homestead, this sprawling property has been the site of chilling encounters and unexplained phenomena. Guests have reported spine-tingling experiences in the dense woods, objects inexplicably moving in the main home, and even unsettling encounters with unseen forces.

The ranch's history whispers of tragedy and intrigue. Legend has it a former owner’s headstone was once hidden beneath the house, and some believe the land conceals an unmarked cemetery. The barn, a focal point of activity, holds a dark story of its own, with tales of a tragic hanging in its hayloft. Visitors and investigators alike have captured disembodied voices echoing in the woods and have experienced the palpable presence of those who came before. Some report feeling watched, while others claim to have left with physical marks from spirit interactions.

Is it the spirits of past owners, long-lost Native American inhabitants, or the energy of forgotten tragedies that fuel the paranormal activity at Empty Pockets Ranch? The answers await those brave enough to explore this haunted haven, where history and the supernatural collide.
