Waiting for you in a town over 300 years old awaits one of the most historic and reportedly haunted locations in the state, the Dr. Best House and Medical Museum. This time capsule holds artifacts that belonged to Dr. Best and his family including antique furniture, medical tools, fully stocked kitchen, fainting couch, and personal ephemera. This hallowed Victorian home patiently awaits the return of its original owner, Dr. Christopher Best, to return up the drive in his horse drawn carriage after one of his house calls. 

These walls have witnessed the death of the doctor's beloved 6-year-old son after a weeks’ long illness--little Leonard is often recorded by investigators. It's no surprise that investigators have captured many EVPs, photos of shadowy figures, recordings of the piano playing and distant voices as Dr. Best was a trusted and beloved physician. Many family members also departed this world inside the home and make themselves known from time to time. 

Guided historical haunted tour with a photo gallery, eye-witness accounts of unexplained events, and discussion of evidence from previous paranormal investigations on the property. Call for reservations. Not recommended for individuals under 16. 

Special haunted history events are held throughout the year including psychic gallery readings, haunted house fundraiser, and guided paranormal investigations. Events are publicized on their Facebook page.
