Opportunities for Visitors
8/18/24: “Section 66: The Rest of the Story.” There’s a lot to see in this section. Diane Medvitz will be our guide for the second part of a tour done in 2019.
9/15/24: “All’s Fine in 59.” Join tour guide Sue Greenhagen as she tells the stories of some of the most interesting “residents” of Section 59. Or will one of those residents steal the show?
10/20/24: “We’re Fallin’ for Oakwood.” ESF professor, Don Leopold, will lead one of his legendary tree tours.
Description
These tours are presented by HOCPA board members and made possible thanks to the support of Oakwood Management. Please use the Oakwood Main Entrance on Comstock across from the Islamic Society of CNY. Look for the tour signs and follow the arrows to the parking and tour meeting place. All tours begin at 2 pm. We tour, rain or shine, but not during thunder and lightning. Oakwood souvenirs will be available for purchase at the tours.
