The Winery at Marjim Manor (Greater Niagara Region) has "that feeling." It's quiet out there in Appleton, NY. Miles of fruit tree groves and Lake Ontario make it a desolate place. A perfect setting to grow apples, and for ghostly intrigued. If something spooky happens out here, your neighbors live too far away to hear your screams.
We recently paid a visit to the winery on a beautiful Friday morning. The Winery at Marjim Manor owner Margo Bittner was a fun, charismatic host who knows how to tell a good story. It was a little too early for us to taste their award-winning wines, but we saw happy customers walking out with bottles after sampling them in the tasting room. If you're looking for both fun and haunted experiences combined, you'll enjoy your visit to The Winery at Marjim Manor.
