A twisting and winding road outside of Syracuse (Onondaga County) has captured the imagination of New Yorkers for decades. The forest road features 13 curves through a narrow valley, which apparently was the cause of a car crash that killed a bride many years ago. The lady in white has been seen so many times that many national television shows have featured this creepy place.
Last fall, we paid a visit to Cedarvale Road. It was a beautiful place to visit on a colorful fall day. However, we could see where that would all change when darkness falls. If you really want to make a night of it, go to the nearby Wayside Inn in Elbridge, where ghosts commonly make their presence known to customers.
