Trail locations receive some media attention over the weekend

This past weekend, three Haunted History Trail of New York State locations were featured in articles by New York State daily newspapers. Wings Castle, Wayside Irish Pub and Dunkirk Historical Lighthouse & Veterans Park Museum all received some media love the past few days. In addition, journalist Connie Hum is currently touring the trail for Sherman Travel.

New York Daily News included Wings Castle (Hudson Valley region/Dutchess County) in "Six Scary Getaways from New York City." The article highlights the underground dungeon suite...where no one could hear you scream. The article can be read here.

The Citizen in Auburn published a piece on the Wayside Irish Pub in Elbridge (Finger Lakes region/Onondaga County). (Chautauqua-Allegheny region/Chautauqua County). Night Out Productions recently spent time on the property filming a YouTube show, which will air in February. The production company uses actors and reenactments to tell the story and history of the location. To read the article visit The Observer's website here. 

Journalist Connie Hum, of Sherman Travel is currently on a four-day tour of the Haunted History Trail of New York State. She is hitting numerous spots across the state. According to her Instagram account, she had an unexplained encounter at Wayside Irish Pub on Saturday night. We will look forward to a future article about the trail published in Sherman Travel.
