The architecture and interior design of the locations on the Haunted History Trail of New York State are as varied as the ghosts themselves. Each location exudes character, which is a big part of the experience in exploring the trail. Thanks to the work of Amity Photos, we're going to be taking several photographic journeys along the trail in upcoming blog posts. In this post (and in no particular order) we take a peak at five unique staircases that you may come across when exploring the Haunted History Trail of New York State.

The Brae Loch Inn in Cazenovia, NY has been called "a more authentic Scottish pub and inn that what you find in Scotland." There's one thing for sure, seeing this staircase when checking into the inn is a strong indication that you're visiting a special place!

2.) The Knox Mansion, Johnstown, NY (Central NY region/Fulton County)

An old carriage house on Lake Erie was slowly transformed into a Renaissance-era beauty by Dr. Casey and friends. Found inside Mexico State Park in Mexico, NY, odd things happen here - including the spotting of a Native American on the shoreline outside the house.
